I love working with kids and I believe it’s very important to help them discover their talents at an early stage and encourage to explore them in a safe container where they can play, fail, learn, grow and expand. If you think your child is inclined to music and you would like to have them develop their skills and talents around music; I am here to help!
I teach singing, songwriting, basic music theory and basic guitar and piano to teach them how to sing and accompany themselves with an instrument at the same time. I tailor my lessons according to my client’s needs and their levels so we can focus on what is most important for each one of them. I also provide artist development, stage/performance coaching and getting rid of stage fright for more serious ones who wants to dedicate themselves to become the artist they were meant to be!
I believe the lessons better be fun to encourage faster learning, curiosity and creative expression; and I find that children usually feel safe and free to express themselves around me.
I am also a multi-lingual and can teach in Italian and Turkish if need be. (I speak French too, but since I haven’t got much of a chance to practice, I am not confident enough to teach a lesson at this time in that language.)
I offer both online and in-person lessons but I definitely prefer in-person as I believe those are more effective!
To give you a little background about my musical experience; I have studied at Musicians institute, I now have over 700 thousand streams on Spotify as an independent artist and have multiple finalist positions at some of the most prestigious songwriting and music contests such as The Opening Act, Nashville International Song Contest, UK Songwriting Contest, The World Songwriting Awards and The Great American Song Contest. One of my songs has been featured in a movie directed by a two time Telly Award winning director Candice T. Cain. My first music video “Flames” received over 181 thousand youtube views and so far my music was covered in more than 70 different publications worldwide including LA Weekly. I’ve been granted “Extraordinary Talent Visa” status by the American Federation of Musicians and the US Government. I’ve been a jury in some of the prestigious awards ceremonies like the Daytime, Children& Family Emmys, and most prestigious song contest in Turkiye.
I have discovered and embarked on my musical journey on a later age; that’s why it is very dear to my heart to be able to help young ones to find their gifts and talents on earlier stages of their lives and have a supportive family/community structure for them to keep following their dreams.
