Chianne is a recording and performing artist & a singer-songwriter who focuses on creating beautiful, catchy, and meaningful songs. Considered among the pioneers of the genre “Conscious pop”; Chianne aims to create songs that inspire, empower, move and touch the hearts of the listeners by delving into the eternal themes of unconditional love, authenticity, empowerment, self-love, joy, believing in and following your dreams…
She possesses a vocal range of almost 4 octaves, including a whistle register as well as a modern-day mix that crescendos with spellbinding emotive undertones. She is a multi-lingual and can sing in several languages, including English, Turkish, Italian, French, and Spanish. She’s been granted “Extraordinary Talent Visa” status by the American Federation of Musicians and the USCIS. She has been inducted into Marquis Who’s Who, Who’s Who in America as an Honored Listee of 125.th Anniversary.
Born into a musically inclined family, she began playing the piano at the age of 8 and despite many varied talents and interests, she found music to be the vehicle by which she expresses herself authentically. Born and raised in Ankara, Turkey, and an Italian Citizen; Chianne also garnered a degree in International Relations and studied Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni in Italy, and she worked at various fashion houses such as Marc Jacobs before she fully recognized and chose to respond to her calling of Music. Her journey took her all around the world and she’s lived in world capitals such as Istanbul, Milan, New York, Amsterdam, Sydney, Luxembourg and eventually settling in Los Angeles where she’s finally launched her music career.
She has also received formal education in Music most notably at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, The Songwriting School of Los Angeles, and musicianship camps by VocalizeU and Andrea Stolpe. Chianne also has numerous online certifications in songwriting and music production, facilitated by industry leaders such as Charlie Puth and Ryan Tedder.
She is a Voting Member of SCL (The Society of Composers and Lyricists) & Active Member of ISSA (International Singer-Songwriters Association).
She was a finalist in the annual 97.1 AMP Radio We Can Survive concert’s Opening Act competition out of 14,000 competitors; that was held at the legendary Hollywood Bowl In Los Angeles in October 2019 and featured performances by Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Camilla Cabello, Lizzo, The Jonas Brothers, and some other major artists.
Her recent song “Truly Free” also brought her a semi-finalist position in The Road To Nashville’s international song contest. She was in the Top 50 out of over 20,000 submissions from 31 countries, proving her global appeal and success. The contest was a joint initiative by both mayors from the biggest music cities in the world- Nashville USA and Liverpool.
She’s also been selected as a Finalist at The Great American Song Contest under the Adult Contemporary category with her song “Truly Free” that over 1800 songwriters from 41 countries participated.
Both her songs “Truly Free” and “No Matter What” brought her semi-finalist positions at "The UK Songwriting Contest” and a finalist position with her song "No Matter What" in 2023, under Singer-Songwriting and Adult-Contemporary Categories.
She’s become a finalist at the WSA “World Songwriting Awards” with her song “No Matter What” under the Best Pop Song Category in 2023.
She’s also been selected as a Semi Finalist at ISC “International Songwriting Competition” in 2023, with her song “Truly Free” under Adult Contemporary Category.
Her song “New Me ” was charted as number one on WVYC Radio and is featured in the soundtrack for the Young Artist Award winning film “A Holiday Homecoming” directed by two time Telly Award winning director Candice T. Cain.
Her first music video “Flames” received over 181 thousand youtube views. She attracted public attention and so far her music was covered in more than 70 different publications worldwide including LA Weekly, LeFutureWave, Urban Craft Magazine, Cliché Magazine, Imperfect Fifth, MusicOTFuture, Melodic Net, The New Nine, Caesar Live N Loud, and Airplay Access, Music Trails among others.
She has been selected to be an official judge for the first annual Children’s and Family Emmy Awards that was held in December 2022, reviewing and voting for the “Outstanding Original Song” and “Outstanding Music Direction and Composition for live action” categories. She’s also served as a judge for “Daytime Emmys” 2023, for the aforementioned categories. She further served as one of the five official judges for “The 26th Altin Guvercin Song Contest” which is the oldest and the most prestigious song contest of Turkiye.
Chianne has the honor of singing the Turkish National Anthem for the official reception of Turkish Republic Day held in the Consulate General of Turkey in Los Angeles for the past several years.
Moreover, she has performed at some of the most well-known and influential music venues in Los Angeles such as the Viper Room (previously co-owned by Johnny Depp), The State Social House, The Mint, Molly Malone, to name just a few.
Her songs have above 600 thousand streams on Spotify. Her music has been added to over 2 thousand playlists on Spotify and counting, including Algorithmic playlists such as Discover Weekly, Spotify Radio, Release Radar, On Repeat, Your Top Songs 2020,21,22.
Alongside with music; she’s been developing and broadening her skills and knowledge around healing, personal development and spirituality; combining and integrating those elements into her music with aims to create a healing and empowering experience for her audience. She is a Reiki II Certified Practitioner, certified CCMBA healer, certified NLP life coach and soon to be a Kundalini Yoga and Meditation teacher.
She’s completed many certifications in personal development and spirituality such as Landmark Education, Tony Robbins UPW; just to name a few.
She likes to teach music and work with children; she’s organized an “Empowerment and Creativity Summer Camp” for the Homeless Kids in skid row in Los Angeles and being a relatively late-bloomer on following her true passion on music; she is passionate about supporting children finding their passions at an early age and following their dreams.
Besides music, she’s also providing Reiki, sound healing and music therapy sessions, voice and music lessons.
